RECONSIDERATION APPLICATION
If your New Zealand visa application has been declined, you have the option to submit a Reconsideration Application to the immigration authorities. This involves providing new evidence or circumstances that were not previously considered, in support of your case for staying in New Zealand. It’s recommended to seek professional immigration advice to increase your chances of a successful reconsideration.
What happened if the reconsideration application is declined?
If the reconsideration application is declined, you may have the option to appeal the decision to the Immigration and Protection Tribunal. This process can take several months and it’s advisable to seek legal representation to ensure that your appeal is properly prepared and presented.
Keep in mind that there is no guarantee that the outcome of a reconsideration or an appeal will be favorable. It may also be possible to reapply for a visa, but this will depend on the specific circumstances of your case and the immigration requirements at the time of reapplication.
