Visitor Visa
If you’re planning to visit New Zealand for tourism or to visit family and friends, you’ll need a visitor visa. The visitor visa allows you to stay in New Zealand for up to 9 months. You’ll need to provide evidence that you have enough funds to support yourself during your stay, a valid passport, and a return ticket or proof that you have enough funds to purchase a return ticket.
Student Visa
If you’re planning to study in New Zealand for more than three months, you’ll need a student visa. You’ll need to provide evidence of acceptance from a New Zealand education provider, proof of funds to support yourself, and evidence of good character. You’ll also need to show that you have enough funds to purchase a return ticket.
Work Visa
If you have a job offer from a New Zealand employer, you may be eligible for a work visa. You’ll need to provide evidence of your job offer and meet the health and character requirements. If your job offer is for a highly-skilled position, you may be eligible for a Skilled Migrant Category visa.
Residence Visa
If you’re planning to move to New Zealand permanently, you’ll need to apply for a residence visa. There are several ways to be eligible for a residence visa, including the Skilled Migrant Category, Family Category, and Business and Investor categories. Each category has its own requirements, and you’ll need to provide evidence of your eligibility.
Partner and Family Visas
If you have a partner or family member who is a New Zealand citizen or resident, you may be eligible for a partner or family visa. You’ll need to provide evidence of your relationship and meet the health and character requirements.
